Review of War Movie:
Hrithik Roshan (India’s super-soldier) goes rogue after killing his handler on an assassination mission. Kabir (Tiger Shroff) is tasked to track his mentor down and bringing him to justice.
2 stars and firm favorites of the action genre, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, lock horns in War. It’s a juicy proposition for fanboys and ladies of each actor. A sort of period throwback to the 90s encounter between Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff in Subhash Ghai's Khalnayak. But aside from this talking-point premise, War, serves up plenty a lot of for the action-movie buffs. It has innumerable stunts, thrills, twists and only enough masala and explosions to stay you engaged within the half, but once the big reveals happen in the second half of the story, it goes awry. Where the film excels in action set items, it genuinely falls short on the story front.
